We also offer specialized services like development and manufacture of Highly Potent APIs and Antibody Drug Conjugation.Our capability as an integrated service provider & experience with various technologies enables us to serve Innovator and Generic companies worldwide.The Business Operations Manager serves as a key interface with various internal departments to facilitate the evaluation of new opportunities, initiation of projects, development of proposals and support of Business Development in pre-sales client interface. This role will have interaction across the organization and will have varied responsibilities.Key DutiesDetermines proposal scope and budget by identifying and clarifying opportunities and client needs, studying requests for proposals (RFPs), and meeting with technical SMEsMeets proposal deadline by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, and approvalAssists in efforts to gather, organize, evaluate, and forecast sales statistics and other data pertaining to pricing and proposal generationDrive interdepartmental communications to define project scope, budget, and timelinesMaintains quality results by using templates and following proposal-writing standards including readability, consistency, and flowAssists in maintaining proposal databaseBuild relationships with Business Development team and potential customers through frequent communication during the RFP cycle, provide technical support, ensure project scope and milestones are well defined, and host client visitsServe as communication conduit between site and potential customersRecognizes and capitalizes on trends in the business pipeline and helps to identify strategic opportunitiesOrganizing and management of legal files and maintaining the Business Development Master IndexOther duties may be assigned to meet business needsKey InteractionsInternal: Site Leadership Team; Business Development; all site functionsExternal: CustomersEducation/ExperienceB.S. in Chemistry or related fieldsExperience with proposals within the pharma industryAdvanced degree in Business is desirable.5 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry highly preferred.Job CompetenciesStrong understanding of the use of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Communications: ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written.Relationship building: ability to make and maintain relationships with colleagues and customers.Organization: ability to maintain accurate and detailed records, legal files, and contracts.Time Management: ability to work independently, set priorities, and manage workflow to accomplish day-to-day tasks to meet deadlines.
