Contract Specialist I

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking a Contract Specialist I to support the United States Marshals Service (USMS) Procurement Division (PD) in San Antonio, TX. The Contract Specialist I will support a variety of government contract and procurement activities while working closely with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. Key Responsibilities Conduct contract reviews and assist with cradle-to-grave acquisition operations Manage contract modifications and contract close-out activities Input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS) Assist Government Contracting Officers with large and small purchase contract actions Review solicitation packages for completeness Advise and support program offices regarding required solicitation package documentation Support procurement and acquisition activities in accordance with Federal regulations and agency procedures Coordinate with internal stakeholders and Government personnel regarding procurement-related actions and documentation Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 24 business credit hours Minimum of four (4) years of relevant contract or procurement experience with emphasis on contract close-outs Must have working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), specifically FAR Parts 8, 12, and 15 Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust background investigation Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline-driven environments Ability to work effectively with Government personnel and stakeholders U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications FAC-C Level II or DAWIA Level II certification preferred Recent experience working as a Federal Contracting Officer or Contract Specialist Experience supporting 100% Small Business Set Aside procurements Experience supporting 30-day Procurement Action Lead Time (PALT) requirements About One Federal Solution One Federal Solution (OFS) is an innovative Professional Services provider with over 20 years of experience supporting Defense and Civilian agencies.
