This role requires 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with proven experience leading, mentoring, and developing staff. The ideal candidate will remain hands-on with the accounting while providing leadership across the department.Core ResponsibilitiesLead and develop accounting staff while remaining hands-on with day-to-day accounting operationsOversee AP, AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entriesManage month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysisMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAPSupport cost accounting and inventory-related accountingCoordinate audit preparation and work with external auditorsPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, and senior leadershipSupport budgeting and forecastingIdentify and implement accounting process and system improvementsIdeal Candidate5+ years of progressive accounting experienceProven experience leading, mentoring, and developing accounting staffHands-on Accounting Manager or strong Senior Accountant/Accounting Supervisor ready for the next stepStrong month-end close, GL, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting experienceManufacturing and/or distribution experience strongly preferredCost accounting and inventory accounting experience preferredStrong knowledge of GAAPAdvanced Excel and ERP system experienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance requiredCPA or CMA is a plus, not requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive compensation package with comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, 401(k) with company match, PTO, paid holidays, life and disability insurance, HSA/FSA options, and additional company benefits.For immediate consideration, please send your resume in Word format to the right match?
