Join a team where your organization and accuracy make a real impact—apply today and start building your future!Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:Prepare, verify, and process outgoing shipmentsCheck product quantities, weights, labels, and shipping information for accuracyCreate and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, shipping labels and advance shipping noticesCoordinate shipments using various transportation methods, including LTL, parcel, expedited, air, and ocean freightEnter and maintain shipping information in SAP and other computer systemsMonitor customer requirements and ensure shipments meet all specificationsTrack and manage returnable containers and communicate with customers regarding inventory levelsLoad, unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, hand jacks, hoists, and other equipmentAssemble, band, and shrink-wrap shipments for safe transportationInspect shipments before departure to ensure quality and accuracyMaintain shipping supplies and inventoryCommunicate effectively with production, receiving, and other departments to ensure smooth operationsTroubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic maintenance and cleaningAssist with shipping department operations and provide backup support for the Shipping Supervisor when neededRequirements for Shipping Coordinator:High School Diploma or GED preferredAt least one year of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or related experience preferredAbility to operate or become certified to operate a forkliftBasic computer skills, including data entry and use of shipping systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to lift, move, and handle shipping materials safelyIND036 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
