Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSiouxland Community Health Center has an opening for: Compliance Coordinator1 – Full-time ON Site Position Hours: Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pmSuccessful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or in a related field of study or a combination of equivalent education and experience.Obtain Certification in Health Care Compliance within 2 years.Knowledge of key risk areas, previous compliance experience, understanding of key compliance requirements, previous experience with compliance audits.Strong analytical and communication skills.Attention to detail.Ability to meet deadlines. Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:Conduct routine and targeted internal compliance auditsPrepare audit reports summarizing findings, trends, and recommended corrective actionsTrack corrective action plans and follow up to ensure timely resolutionDevelop routine monitoring plans in collaboration with each department leaderAssist with compliance and privacy incident intake, documentation, investigation, and mitigationSupport data collection for risk assessments, site visits, and other external auditsAssist with developing compliance and privacy training presentations and learning materialsAssist with developing and maintaining compliance program policies and proceduresMonitor deadlines to ensure formal performance evaluations are completed prior to contract renewal or extensionsThese functions are not all inclusiveSiouxland Community Health Center provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to any characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.SCHC participates in E-Verify.Pre-employment drug screen, background check, and review of required immunizations.
