Account Development Manager

Full job description PPG Industries Dallas, TX, United States of America As an Account Development Manager, you will grow new sales through assigned PPG Paints stores, growing both existing business year-over-year, and developing new accounts within the industrial segment. You will report to the Regional Manager and work onsite based in the Dallas, TX market. Key Responsibilities Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to existing customer accounts by keeping up to date with current promotions, new products, and with current customer service practices to find opportunities for growth. Develop account planning strategies, identify sales opportunities, and assess accounts with growth potential, understanding existing business and the segments they serve. Use Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to maintain call logs, contact information, and run reports. Collaborate with store managers and employees to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded. Facilitate accurate customer quotes to achieve margin targets in alignment with PPG pricing strategies. Qualifications High school diploma required with 3+ years of previous sales experience and strong customer service aptitude. Higher‑level education degree in a business‑related field preferred. CRM software experience preferred; previous coatings experience is highly sought after. Daily travel within your assigned territory and possess a valid driver’s license.
