Sales Support Specialist

As a sales support specialist, you will have direct impact in critical business-related activities to help AWC and its management team be successful. You will manage all administrative duties for AWC’s Deer Park sales and Operations teams and report to the regional sales manager. You’ll be an integral part of our Deer Park, TX team with business impact across the Deer Park and Houston area. Success is measured by completing assignments defined by the Inside Sales Manager. Interaction across several business units within AWC will allow the correct candidate to grow their skills, expertise, and career development rapidly. Empowerment in decision-making with proper judgment will be an integral part of the job. How you’ll make an impact: Coordinating building maintenance requirements Manage building usage, coordinate trainings Scheduling internal and external events Coordinate purchases of materials, ensure invoices are routed properly Manages budget for consumable materials in office Provide primary support for receiving phone calls Customer maintenance functions such as weekly order reports, and proactive expediting Manage promotional item purchasing and inventory Coordinate safety council training as needed Receive invoices, order supplies, and other miscellaneous fiscal duties Coordinate with technology partners on KPIs Coordinate with marketing team on initiatives Assists with sales reporting Assists with coordinating meetings and communication among staff through various communication methods Skills you’ll need: 2+ years’ experience or equivalent in administrative or executive support level role Excellent business acumen and ability to prioritize and make sound judgment Observe and maintain confidentiality as necessary Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint proficiency Strong work ethic and ownership mentality Teamwork mentality and positive attitude Curious to learn more in role Values relationships amongst team and customers The Rewards: Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Competitive Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Package Employer Paid Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay About AWC As employee co-owners, we’re driven to do more than complete tasks; we build fulfilling careers by challenging assumptions and continually raising the bar.
