CNC Machinist

Our client, a nationwide leader in custom metal and steel components, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Machinist, to join their winning team in Peekskill.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setup & Troubleshoot CNC Mills and/or Lathes under minimal supervision. Layout new work including tooling selection and fixturing. Setup Machines and Supervise Operator(s) during production of lot. Have technical knowledge to troubleshoot manufacturing and production related issues. Work to tolerances of .0005″ or less. Use CAD, engineering drawings, or even back-of-napkin sketches to accurately and efficiently machine a high mix of prototype parts from a variety of materials Light use of CAM software to create efficient and reliable toolpaths (GibbsCam or MasterCam preferred) Develop training for other team members to safely use equipmentKEY REQUIREMENTS:
5+ Years of Setup Experience in a Precision CNC Environment. Proven Experience in similar role.WE OFFER:
