Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-home individual therapy and group sessions, utilizing techniques tailored to meet varying emotional and developmental needs within the family context.

• Collaborate with the Child Family Treatment Team, sharing essential insights and recommendations to foster cohesive support for youth and families.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and other necessary client records, maintaining compliance with clinic protocols.

• Participate actively in monthly meetings to review case progress and to contribute ideas for service improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be directly supporting children and adolescents aged 3-20, particularly those facing challenges associated with developmental disabilities and intellectual impairments. This position also emphasizes the importance of engaging with primary caregivers, equipping them with tools and resources that promote family wellness and effective parenting strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New Jersey.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 PM), with additional weekend availability viewed favorably.

• Demonstrated experience in providing positive behavior support and therapeutic techniques is essential.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle are mandatory to travel for home-based services.

• Candidates must pass a thorough criminal background check, including fingerprinting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
