Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: 10-14 days per month. Clinic hours 8am-5pm (may need to be on site earlier for surgery). Coverage dates: Sept. 8-18, Sept. 28 - Oct. 2, Nov. 16-30, Dec. 18-23. Approximately 60% clinic, 10% hospital, 30% procedures/surgeries.
• Job Setting: Inpatient and Outpatient; Trauma Level 2 facility
• Types of Cases:
  • General Urology (Adult required; Pediatric preferred) — including pediatric testicular torsion and pediatric urology ER patients
  • Laparoscopic surgeries
  • Robotic surgery
  • Ureteroscopy
  • Nephrectomy
  • Prostatectomy
  • TRUS biopsies
  • Incontinence procedures
  • Typical procedures: cystoscopy, stent placement/removal, prostate biopsy, vasectomy, bladder instillation
  • Preferred: Advanced endoscopic techniques, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, partial nephrectomies/intraoperative ultrasound, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound (with biopsy), ESWL
• EMR System: Cerner
• Call: Beeper call; 15-minute response time required; call ratio 1:2 or 1:3; call coverage for both inpatient and outpatient

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required
• Certifications: BLS required
• Licensure: Wisconsin licensure required; IMLC not accepted
• Credentialing: Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days; Fellowship: required
• Malpractice Insurance: Provided by Vendor
