Job Summary

AMMON Staffing is recruiting Maintenance Technicians for an opportunity in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

The Maintenance Technician will support general building and facility maintenance and help keep the workplace operating safely and efficiently. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, comfortable troubleshooting problems, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general building and facility maintenance
  • Complete routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed
  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues and identify appropriate solutions
  • Respond to facility maintenance requests and work orders
  • Inspect building areas and equipment for maintenance needs
  • Assist with preventive maintenance activities
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized manner
  • Report larger repair or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel
  • Follow workplace safety procedures while performing maintenance duties
  • Assist with other facility and maintenance projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous maintenance, facilities, building maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot general maintenance issues
  • Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple maintenance tasks
  • Comfortable performing hands-on physical work
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and workplace requirements
  • Reliable attendance and professional work habits
Compensation

$25.00 per hour

Overtime may be available based on workload and scheduling needs.
