Charge OR RN - Days - 13-Week Contract Position

Location: Maryland

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8 hours (06:45 - 15:15)

Job Description: The Charge OR RN will oversee the daily operations in the Operating Room, ensuring effective communication with the Anesthesia team, Surgeons, Nursing staff, and Leadership. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in general OR operations, trauma, and robotics, with a strong ability to prioritize cases based on acuity and urgency.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the Operating Room.
• Communicate effectively within the interdisciplinary team.
• Prioritize trauma, emergent, urgent, and add-on cases efficiently.
• Assist in surgical procedures with general, bariatric, trauma, GYN, urology, robotics, ortho, neuro, and podiatry specialties.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 5 years of experience in circulating and scrubbing roles.
• 2 years of experience in a Charge RN role in a Trauma-2 unit.
• Active RN license in Maryland or compact state.
• BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Experience with Da Vinci robotics is required.
