Comfort Suites is seeking a dependable, motivated, and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team!

We are looking for someone who has a passion for cleanliness, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support our housekeeping team while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.

⭐ POSITION OVERVIEW

As our Assistant Housekeeping Supervisor, you will work closely with the Head Housekeeper and management to assist with daily housekeeping operations.

This is a HANDS-ON LEADERSHIP POSITION that involves inspecting guest rooms, assisting with cleaning, supporting team members, monitoring productivity, and ensuring our hotel consistently meets brand standards.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable taking direction, working independently when needed, and stepping into additional leadership responsibilities when necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

✔️ Assist the Head Housekeeper with daily housekeeping operations.

✔️ Help assign rooms and monitor housekeeping progress throughout the day.

✔️ Thoroughly inspect cleaned guest rooms to ensure they meet hotel and brand standards.

✔️ Communicate room-status updates to the Front Desk and management.

✔️ Assist with cleaning assigned guest rooms when necessary.

✔️ Ensure stayover services and special guest requests are completed.

✔️ Identify cleaning deficiencies and ensure corrections are made before rooms are released.

✔️ Assist with training new housekeeping employees and reinforcing proper cleaning procedures.

✔️ Help motivate employees and encourage teamwork and productivity.

✔️ Assist with deep cleaning projects and maintaining cleanliness throughout the property.

✔️ Monitor housekeeping carts, linen supplies, cleaning products, and storage areas.

✔️ Report maintenance concerns to the appropriate department.

✔️ Assist with keeping hallways and common areas clean and presentable.

✔️ Help ensure daily housekeeping assignments are completed efficiently without sacrificing quality.

✔️ Step in to support the Head Housekeeper when needed.

⭐ QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

✅ Previous hotel housekeeping experience REQUIRED.

✅ Previous housekeeping supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

✅ Strong attention to detail and knowledge of hotel cleaning standards.

✅ Ability to inspect guest rooms thoroughly and identify areas needing improvement.

✅ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

✅ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

✅ Comfortable assisting with cleaning rooms while maintaining other responsibilities.

✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

✅ Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.

✅ Dependable, punctual, and professional.

✅ Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

SCHEDULE & AVAILABILITY

WEEKEND AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED.

HOLIDAY AVAILABILITY IS REQUIRED.

Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day OFF!
