Travel OR Registered Nurse

Schedule - Shift: Monday–Friday with a rotating day off - Shift Type: 10-hour shifts

Requirements - Minimum of 1.5 years of experience (2 years preferred in internal fields) - Trauma Level I experience required - Travel nurse experience required - BLS certification required - Experience with Epic charting system - Core clinical expectations: perioperative/surgical experience across orthopedic, neuro, vascular, urology, and general surgery - Preferred skills: DaVinci robotic cases, endovascular, ophthalmic/eye cases

Roles & Responsibilities - Provide high-quality nursing care in the operating room for various surgical procedures. - Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective operation of surgical interventions. - Monitor patient vital signs and react to any changes during surgery. - Assist in the preparation of the operating room and maintain sterile techniques. - Document patient care and procedural details accurately in the electronic medical record. - Educate patients and families on post-operative care and recovery processes.

Compliance / Notes - Must have State or Compact RN license at the time of submittal. - Candidates residing in certain counties are not eligible. - Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler. - Complete onboarding requirements within 48 hours of contract signing. - Vaccine status for COVID-19 and Influenza is to be confirmed.
