Rework Operator

Advanced PCB Rework and Repair Technician

This role is responsible for performing advanced rework, repair, and modification of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) in accordance with IPC standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced rework, repair, and modification of PCBAs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with IPC, ESD, and safety standards.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing.
• Proficient in soldering, desoldering, and reworking both through-hole and surface mount components, including BGAs.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Experience using microscopes and rework equipment.
• Commitment to producing high-quality work.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• IPC certification.
• AOI/X-ray inspection experience.
• Experience in aerospace or medical device manufacturing.

The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The work environment includes the operation of warehouse equipment and tools, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and typical warehouse conditions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
