Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. This role requires collaborative team efforts and adherence to best nursing practices to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Shift Information

This position includes night shifts with schedules of either three 12-hour shifts or four 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0730. There may be a requirement to float to multiple locations within the region as needed.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Associate Degree (A.S.) in Nursing: Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
• Experience:
  • One year of experience in acute care: Required
• Licenses/Certifications:
  • Current RN license in the state of practice: Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from an approved vendor per policy: Required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within six months of hire or transfer

Required Skills

• Recent EPIC experience is required.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
