Business Support Specialist II | First Citizens Bank The Tone: This is a Hybrid role at First Citizens Bank, located in Raleigh, NC, requiring in-office presence Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. First Citizens Bank provides banking services. This role is crucial for supporting the bank’s business and commercial lending activities by producing detailed financial spread reports for current and prospective customers. The TL;DR Role: Early Career Type: Hybrid Location: Hybrid, Raleigh, NC Mission: Provide financial spread reports to support the Bank’s business and commercial lending activities for customers and prospects. Tech Stack: spreading software What You’ll Actually Do Data Spreading: Receive, evaluate, and input appropriate financial statement data into specialized spreading software. Financial Interpretation: Interpret personal and business financial data from financial statements, CBI reports, personal tax returns, and accounting notes to accurately transfer information into spreading software. Information Gathering: Request any necessary additional information needed to complete work requests in accordance with servicing requirements and Bank guidelines. Lending Support: Assist field associates, analysts, and underwriters by providing relevant industry information such as NAICS Codes and RMA comparisons. The Must-Haves Background: Entry-Level career with a Bachelor’s Degree and 0 years of experience in Support, Operations, or Customer Service; alternatively, a High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in these fields. Requires a minimum of 6 hours of college-level accounting coursework. Experience: 0-4 years, depending on education level, in support, operations, or customer service environments. Skills: Strong analytical skills, keen attention to detail, proficiency in computer applications, and effective oral and written communication skills.
