Senior Vice President, CompensationLocation: New York, NY (4 days onsite)Employment Type: Full-TimeLevel: Senior Leadership (Individual Contributor)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Compensation to lead and own all aspects of compensation for a growing investment firm. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation programs aligned with firm performance and talent strategy.Reporting directly to senior leadership, this person will serve as the subject matter expert on all compensation matters across the organization, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and executive stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end compensation function across the firm, including base salary, incentive plans, and deferred compensation structuresDesign and manage annual compensation cycles, including bonus planning, salary reviews, and executive compensation decisionsPartner with senior leadership to align compensation strategy with firm performance, growth, and talent prioritiesDevelop and maintain market-competitive compensation frameworks, leveraging benchmarking data across investment management and financial servicesProvide strategic guidance on hiring offers, promotions, and retention packagesLead compensation modeling, scenario analysis, and financial planning in partnership with FinanceEnsure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and governance standardsBuild and maintain compensation policies, documentation, and reporting for internal and external stakeholdersServe as the firm’s primary point of contact for all compensation-related mattersQualifications10+ years of experience in compensation, ideally within asset management, private equity, hedge funds, or financial servicesProven experience operating as a senior individual contributor, owning compensation end-to-endStrong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsWork EnvironmentBased in New York City with a 4-day onsite requirementCollaborative, high-performance culture with direct exposure to firm leadershipWhy JoinOpportunity to own and shape compensation strategy at a sophisticated investment firmHigh visibility and direct impact on business performance and talent outcomesWork alongside a senior leadership team in a dynamic, growth-oriented environmentThe SR Group (US), Inc. is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.Please note that your personal information will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
