Work Environment This full-time position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to serve our clients from the comfort of your home while still being an integral part of a community health clinic. Our typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), adapting your approach as necessary for optimal client outcomes. Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards, ensuring the confidentiality of client information at all times. Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to devise and revise treatment strategies in an effort to maximize client progress. Participate in bi-weekly case consultations and peer review meetings to enhance clinical practices and improve the quality of care. Offer education and resources to patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community support services. Stay abreast of the latest trends and research developments in the mental health field to continuously enhance your therapeutic practices. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with clients experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression, providing tailored therapeutic support to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Your role will be critical in not only addressing their immediate needs but also equipping them with tools and strategies to manage their long-term mental health and well-being. Qualifications A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. An active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. Practical knowledge of solution-focused psychotherapeutic interventions and techniques, allowing for a tailored, patient-centered approach in therapy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. A commitment to collaborating within a team-oriented environment, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth. Preferred Experience Experience working remotely or in community health settings focused on trauma and addiction recovery. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems to enhance practice efficiency and client management. Previous involvement in community outreach, mental health education, or support groups is a plus. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
