Pay Range:$34.21 - $51.31A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Responsible for the simulation and administration of radiation therapy by using a CT scanner and linear accelerator while following the prescription of a radiation oncologist.Position Specifics:o Department: Radiation/Oncologyo Core Function: Rehab/Therapy/Sleepo Schedule: PRN - 8a-430pm is standard shift but by vary due to pt. volume, no weekend, call or holiday responsibilitieso Facility: O'Fallon Cancer Centero Location: O’Fallon, ILo Compensation aligned with your experienceEducation QualificationsAssociates in Radiation Therapy or graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy program is required.Bachelor of Science in Radiation Therapy is preferred.Associates Degree required for those graduating from Radiation Therapy program after 12/31/14.Experience QualificationsOne year experience in Radiation Therapy is preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsIEMA-Radiation Therapy (Illinois Emergency Management Association) is required in Illinois.Basic Life Support (BLS) is required within 30 days of hire.ARRT registered in radiation therapy or successful completion of a Radiation Therapy program and eligible to take the certification exam in Radiation Therapy as defined by the American Registration of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
