Purchasing CoordinatorPay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Monday - Friday 7:00am to 4:00pmSummary: Provides administrative and clerical support to the Office Manager by performing the following duties:Essential Duties And Responsibilities:Primary responsibility for assisting in activities involved with procuring goods and services, such as materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for establishment.Updates internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)Setup new vendors and maintain vendor files.Performs vendor / supplier evaluations yearly.Enters vendor invoices into computer daily.Tracks warranty items to include follow up dates for repairs, warranties, credits or return to stock products.Directs calls as appropriate or takes message.Files and maintains filing systems for vendors / suppliers.Other Duties:Serves as back up for sales invoicing.Serves as back up for receptionist.Data entry: customer related.Revises auto-builds and MYOB.Assists administrative and sales staff, as necessary.Education/Experience:High School graduate required.Proficient, courteous telephone skills.Computer skills or training included but not limited to SAGE 100, MYOB, contact management, word processing (MS Word), and spreadsheets (MS Excel).
