Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing CoordinatorDrees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the nation, is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator in the Houston Division. The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for assisting in all areas of Purchasing/Estimating. This position takes ownership of assigned projects and provides background, analysis, and summary of issues at hand and offer possible solutions.Key Responsibilities:Focus on assigned projects including issues with purchase orders and FPO's.Assist Builders/Estimators in making sure PO's are accurate.Research and confirm the requests are valid, ensure there isn't duplicity.Ability to analyze information, identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies.Attend weekly starts meetings and FPO meetings and offer assistance as needed.Work directly with Cost Analysis and Operations Manager on cost details/issues.Aid in obtaining pricing from trade partners for new plans and options.Permitting of homes and HOA approvals.Ensure all vendor packets are updates and accurate.
