Quick Facts Location: St. Louis, MO Start Date: Flexible (as soon as credentialed) End Date: 04/19/2027 Shift: Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday-Thursday Hours/Week: 32 hours/week Employment Type: Contract-to-permanent or perm Licenses/Certifications: MO and IL medical licenses (willing to license), BC in genetics required, BLS, BNDD, DEA Experience: 2-5 years in genetics, experience with metabolic conditions preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $156.00/hour Pay Package: Competitive, discussion upon application Additional Benefits: Pay package discussed, support staff including genetic counselors and nurses, comprehensive credentialing process What You’ll Do Perform general genetics evaluations for outpatient and inpatient consultations Manage biochemical and metabolic disorders Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including genetic counselors and specialists Provide inpatient consults in PICU, NICU, and pediatric wards Contribute to patient care across pediatric and occasional adult cases Utilize EPIC EMR for charting and documentation What You Need Required: Board Certification in Genetics or equivalent State medical licenses for Missouri and Illinois (or willing to obtain) BLS, BNDD, DEA certifications 2-5 years of relevant experience Strong diagnostic skills in genetics and metabolic conditions Preferred: Experience with biochemical/metabolic disorder management Ability to collaborate closely with genetic counseling team About the Assignment Join a prestigious hospital in St. Louis, MO, supporting a comprehensive genetics program within an outpatient setting combined with inpatient consults.
