International Alliance Associates, LLC (IAA) | Hybrid: New York, NY (405 East 56th Street, Suite 9C) and remote | 16 to 40 hours per week

About the role

\n

IAA advises companies, institutions and investors on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and project finance across the Gulf States, Latin America, Europe and the United States. As an intern, you will support senior executives on real transactions from screening to closing.

\n

What you will do

\n

\n
• Research industries, companies, investors and acquirers, and build target and buyer lists
\n
• Build and update financial models, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses
\n
• Prepare pitch decks, teasers, information memoranda and investor presentations
\n
• Support due diligence, data rooms and investor communication
\n
• Track deal pipelines, milestones and follow-ups
\n
• Write market and sector briefings for senior executives
\n

You might be a fit if you

• Study or have completed a degree in finance, economics, accounting, business or a related field
\n
• Have strong analytical, Excel and writing skills
\n
• Are interested in investment banking, M&A and private markets
\n
• Speak Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, German, Italian or French (a plus)
\n

Compensation and learning

\n

This is an unpaid experiential learning opportunity, generally eligible for academic credit through your school. Where an intern contributes significantly to a transaction that closes, IAA may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law, share a portion of the fees earned. Closings can take many months. You will learn across investment banking, private equity, real estate and global business development.
