Job DescriptionVice Presidents are critical leaders of deal teams and are integral for the training and development of junior bankers. Vice Presidents are expected to be day-to-day leaders of transactions and have the opportunity to deliver high levels of impact for our clients across all facets of a transaction. As such, this role calls for candidates that are highly self-motivated, collegial, poised, strategic thinkers, and proven leaders. More specifically, Vice Presidents support the success of the team by:Leading the day-to-day execution of transactionsCreating and assisting in the delivery of client presentations to support of new business development and transaction executionPreparing confidential memoranda, management presentations, marketing pitches, and other presentationsDeveloping, analyzing, and explaining historical and projected financial informationCoordinating and performing business due diligenceHelping market and plan engagementsBuilding relationships and maintaining direct contact with current and prospective clientsProviding guidance, mentorship, and training to Associates and Financial AnalystsPerforming other administrative and operational duties as dictated by the group’s needsBasic Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of accounting and finance6+ years of relevant investment banking experience An undergraduate degree, including an exemplary academic record, from an accredited institution Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong public speaking and presentation skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple project deliverables simultaneouslyExtensive operational, financial modeling, and valuation experienceHands-on sell-side M&A experience Transaction experience in the Consumer Health space Compensation and BenefitsHoulihan Lokey is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive total compensation package, which may include other components such as discretionary incentive compensation.
