Registered Nurse - Med/Surg (0.5 FTE)

Western Wisconsin Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (0.5 FTE) to work in the Inpatient department! Come join an amazing team of nurses! Registered Nurses work under the direction of a licensed physician or nurse practitioner credentialed at Western Wisconsin Health. Responsibilities include collaborating with the House Supervisor in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, within the objectives, standards, and policies of the department and within the parameters of his/her preparation. QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing - Associates Degree in Nursing, diploma from hospital based school, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Wisconsin RN license
• CPR certification for adults and pediatrics
• PALs and ACLS (within 4 months of hire)

Preferred qualifications:

• 2+ years of acute RN hospital experience

• Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of electronic medical records
• Ability to anticipate, understand, and manage patient expectations and provide consistent delivery of services
• Clearly and effectively convey information to patients
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently
• Ability to consistently carry out job responsibilities, able to acknowledge when commitments are not met, and take appropriate steps to fulfill responsibility
• Ability to analyze, identify, and solve problems while using sound judgment

Work Schedule:

• .5 FTE - 40 hours in a bi-weekly pay period
• Every 3rd weekend and holiday rotation
