We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for our Cincinnati location./ppBenefits:/pulliMedical Plan/liliDental Plan/liliVision Plan/liliPaid Vacation/liliRX Coverage/lili401(K) Plan with Employer Match/liliCompany-paid life insurance/liliShort-Term Disability coverage/li/ulpResponsibilities:/pulliMonitoring accounts: Identifying and tracking overdue payments/liliCollecting payments: Receiving and posting payments to accounts/liliAnalyzing data: Gathering and studying payment and debt history/liliCommunicating with customers: Discussing debts with customers and helping with billing and credit issues/liliSending out customer statements on a monthly or as requested basis./liliManaging records: Keeping track of account statuses and collection operations/liliReporting: Providing updates on collection operations and customer accounts. In particular a weekly accounts receivable review meeting with the President, CFO and others./liliPerforms daily accounting work such as A/R collections and cash application./liliProtects the Companys cash, leads collection process, bank deposits reconciliations, and Comdata wire posting/preparation./liliWorks with other administrative assistants at other Interstate locations to resolve payment and collection issues./liliManages and reconciles the collection of daily cash/customer payment reports received from our outside locations (Indianapolis, Louisville, Columbus, Lexington, Cleveland)./liliAssists other members of the Accounting team as requested./liliOther duties as required and assigned/liliMust be able to work independently/li/ulpQualifications and Education Requirements:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED), or equivalent experience./liliMinimum of two years of experience in using a business ERP system and working within a customer payment processing module./li/ulpPreferred Skills:/pulliAble to read and comprehend printed and electronic information./liliKnow how to use computers proficiently with strong competence in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)./liliAble to use critical thinking to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems./liliPossess the skills to manage time and multitask efficiently while maintaining a detail-oriented work style./liliAble to work collaboratively in a team environment./liliAble to communicate effectively with others in both written and verbal communications./liliPossesses an honest and ethical character./liliAbility to contact customers and request payment in a tactful manner./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliPhysical requirements are consistent with accounting positions, including mostly sitting with some standing/walking required.
