Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist for a well-established, values-driven manufacturing organization known for its commitment to operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This contract-to-hire role is onsite in Cincinnati, Ohio.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position supports core financial operations by managing day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable activities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The role plays an important part in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining strong vendor and customer relationships, and supporting overall accounting operations. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice review, coding, and timely payment processing Track incoming payments, generate invoices, and support accounts receivable collection efforts Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accuracy of financial recordsMaintain organized financial documentation and assist with reporting and audit preparation Communicate with vendors and customers regarding billing questions, balances, and payment status Support general accounting operations and assist with additional finance-related tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in accounting, finance, or related administrative support functions Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Effective written and verbal communication skills for internal and external coordination Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort working with accounting or ERP systems

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $25 - $30 per hour.
