Centerless Grinder

We are looking for entry to mid level machine operators for our first shift teams! You will set up and operate our centerless grinders! Job Duties Set up centerless grinder machinery. Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines. Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary. Move completed material to next workstation. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs. Written and verbal communication with management as needed. Other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED (One year certificate from college or technical school preferred) or equivalent experience. Minimum six months related experience or training. Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types. Ability to read and interpret blue prints. Mechanically inclined with strong math skills. Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers. Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds. Physical conditions are consistent with a typical production environment. Large material is moved by overhead cranes and Centerless Grinder Operators must know how to operate the equipment properly. Daily lifting of up to 50 lbs. Exposure to grinding fluids and oils.
