Human Resources Director

As an integral part of Heritage Academy, this position will support the network by leading human resources strategy, employee relations, talent acquisition, compliance, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee support systems. This position will help ensure that Heritage Academy attracts, develops, supports, and retains highly qualified faculty and staff who advance the vision and mission of Heritage Academy. Duties & Responsibilities Direct annual development and management of the strategic human resources plans, including the establishment of hiring priorities, staffing goals, employee support systems, calendars, and budgets. Create strategic relationships with campus leaders, administrators, employees, candidates, vendors, and other stakeholders to create value for Heritage Academy families. Lead employee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, retention, and employee relations efforts for the Paul Revere and Heritage Academy schools. Help to create and articulate the employee value proposition and employment case for joining and remaining with Heritage Academy. Assist with the employee and candidate relationship management process, including the identification, qualification, screening, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, support, and retention of faculty and staff. Human Resources Strategies Job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, and communication; Employee onboarding and orientation; Employee relations, documentation, and support. Execute the process of face-to-face, phone, and virtual interviews. Help manage and direct the hiring and employee support efforts for the Paul Revere and Heritage Academy Schools. Assist with the development, implementation and management of a comprehensive employee/candidate tracking, documentation, and management system. Human Resources Infrastructure Employee data and information management; Employee recognition, communication, and support; Hiring, onboarding, personnel records, and compliance reporting. Manage budget, performance, and human resources reporting. Work closely with other departments to articulate the mission and vision of the organization, and the importance of hiring, supporting, and retaining excellent employees, in a consistent and proactive way. Represent the organization in public. Other duties as assigned Qualifications, Competencies & Strengths Experience: 3-5 years human resources, employee relations, talent acquisition, school operations, or organizational leadership experience Special Skills Professional and friendly disposition Proficient with computers and office software applications including MS Office tools Proven track record in managing comprehensive human resources operations including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee relations, personnel documentation, compliance, performance management, employee communication, and retention strategies Knowledge of employment practices, school staffing needs, and human resources compliance preferred Proficient with computers and software applications including Google Suite and Microsoft Office tools Physical Requirements Type of fingerprint clearance: Shall be fingerprint checked pursuant to A.R.S 15-512 Physical functions: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and operate a computer, hand-held learning devices, and other office equipment. Reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Equipment used: Frequent computer use is expected. Work Environment: Typical office environment is expected; occasional exposure to outdoor weather.
