Umatilla County Fire District #1 is currently accepting applications for one Single-Role Paramedic or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) position. UCFD#1 provides fire, rescue, and emergency medical services to the communities of Hermiston and Stanfield, along with ambulance services to Echo and Umatilla. Our close-knit team of career and volunteer personnel responds to more than 6,000 calls each year from five stations, serving more than 48,000 residents. Position Schedule UCFD#1 operates on a four-shift schedule with a 42-hour work week. Shift personnel work a 24-hours-on, 72-hours-off schedule.
