Details Cath Lab unit providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization services Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week Call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular emergencies Floating to like units within scope as needed based on facility demand Requirements Active NM or compact RN license required (pending compact accepted if obtained prior to start) Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required; RCIS preferred Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required Skilled in cardioversion, circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation/management, and procedural sedation monitoring Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring Scrub procedure experience preferred Epic charting experience preferred Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including scrub and circulate roles Administer and monitor procedural sedation medications Receive brief orientation when floating to unit within scope First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; locals are not accepted Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler No travel pairs or groups accepted These details are based on information provided by the facility and may include inaccuracies or be subject to updates.
