This position reports directly to the Practice Site Administrator.**Responsibilities:*** Scheduling all hospital and some in-office surgeries* Communicating with hospitals to perform all necessary pre-operative requirements* Contacting patients to explain responsibilities and all necessary pre-operative and post-operative requirements* Administering surgical prep packets to patients which contains all required paperwork to be completed prior to surgery* Precertifying all surgical procedures with the appropriate insurance company verifying eligibility, deductibles, and co pays.**Requirements:*** Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.* NextGen a plus.* Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.* Must have experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance* Must have excellent communication and follow up skills**Schedule:**Monday: 8:30am-5:00pmTuesday: 8:30am-5:00pmWednesday: 8:30am-5:00pmThursday: 8:30am-5:00pmFriday: 8:30am-5:00pm**We offer a competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package including**Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company paid long term disability, Flexible spending account, Company paid life insurance, Voluntary life insurance, 401k, Pet insurance.**The ENT & Allergy Associates Network:**ENT & Allergy Associates (ENTA) is the largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practice in the country, with over 475 clinicians who practice in over 80 clinical locations throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Texas.
