Power your future with Qualus in our Field Engineering department as a Wireman. The Wireman is to perform wire pulling, wire termination, and control panel construction withing substations and electrical facilities. Responsibilities Reads prints, uses standard hand and power tools, follow specific work instructions while adhering to all Safety and Human Performance fundamentals Inspect, test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment in generating stations, substations, and in-service relays Wires from point-to-point or schematics Install process piping and instrumentation Installs components per layout drawings Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent Basic electrical knowledge in commercial, industrial, or utility projects Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables Ability to communicate effectively in English (inclusive of reading and writing) due to the nature of safety-related materials, documentation, and interactions with clients.
