Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN - Acute - Nights

At Levindale's 40-bed High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), no two days are the same. Our staff works in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment providing expert care to patients recovering from acute brain injuries, respiratory failure, and more. You'll be supported by a full interdisciplinary team-and empowered to grow through our Nursing Career Ladder and robust professional development programs.

Join the dedicated team at Levindale Hospital's High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) , where you'll provide skilled, compassionate care to adult patients with complex medical needs. Our patients include those requiring ventilator or pulmonary support, cardiac monitoring, and recovery from acute brain injuries. As an LPN, you'll play a vital role in helping patients achieve their best outcomes in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with care plans and clinical guidelines

• Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress

• Communicate effectively with RNs , physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Support patients and families through education and emotional care

Qualifications

• Active Maryland or Compact State LPN license

• Current BLS (AHA required)

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay Range: $26.38 to $40.89 Based On Experience
