Strong communication skills tailored to diverse resident populations. Additional training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. Responsibilities: Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and document residents’ physical and emotional conditions, reporting any concerns to nursing staff promptly. Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents by following established protocols. Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans effectively. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures. Skills: The Resident Care Assistant utilizes strong interpersonal and communication skills daily to build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
