CNC Machinist

Randstad is currently working with a Manufacturing company that produces electrical connection and protection products.. They are currently hiring CNC Machinists at their facility in Solon, OH.  This is a Full-Time Permanent position with our client.  As a CNC Machinist you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines. Producing machined parts according to blueprint specifications.  Adhere to all safe work procedures and to create parts up to the highest of quality standards.     Qualifications:

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.  
• Experience following work instructions or reading blueprints. 
• Experience using hand and power tools. 
• Prior experience working in a light industrial facility preferred.  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and meet operational deadlines. 

salary: $38,520 - $56,159.98 per year

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates CNC and Tool & Die equipment to produce quality machined parts as specified by blueprints, layout, and templates.  
• Plans sequence of operations applying knowledge of materials.   
• Perform duties required to assist setup and operate multiple CNC / Tool & Die equipment simultaneously for a variety of machined products.   
• Work from drawings, route sheets, schedules, written, and verbal instructions.   
• Check material for correct size and type.   
• Use micrometers, calipers, scales, and fixed gauges to check work in process and ensure adherence to specifications.   
• Move materials in the performance of duties.   
• Install and check safety devices as needed for specific jobs.   
• Report faulty equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor.  
• Complete required quality checks/documents and production documentation.   
• Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.   
• Perform other related duties as assigned or directed, which may require more than the normal shift hours or work week to meet company needs.  

The essential functions of this role include:
