Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school-based assignment in Illinois, requiring a PEL with SLP endorsement for grades K-8.
Details
- School-based setting serving grades K-8
- Caseload of approximately 45 students
- Serves IEP and 504 minutes across the student caseload
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm (5x8-hour shifts)
- 42-week contract
Requirements
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement required
- SLP licensure required if applicable
- Experience working with K-8 student populations
- Familiarity with IEP and 504 plan development and implementation
- Experience with MTSS frameworks preferred
Additional Information
- Deliver IEP and 504 service minutes as outlined in individual student plans
- Attend IEP and 504 meetings as a contributing team member
- Write all speech-language components of IEPs and 504 plans, including complete IEPs for speech-only students
- Serve as a member of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team
- Resume required for consideration
