Regional Sales Manager

Pay or shift range: $80,000 USD to $90,000 USD

The salary range is based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications and geographic location.

We are seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead sales growth across our North Central territory, including Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

This is a remote, field-based position, and candidates must reside within the assigned territory.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable sales growth by strengthening relationships with distributor partners, developing new business opportunities, and expanding end-user engagement throughout the territory. This role requires a highly motivated sales professional who excels at strategic account management, territory planning, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve assigned sales quotas, revenue goals, and performance objectives.

• Develop and execute strategic business plans for key distributor accounts.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, end users, and key decision-makers.

• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share within the territory.

• Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers throughout the region.

• Deliver effective product demonstrations, presentations, and sales training to distributors and customers.

• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.

• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of MCR Safety's PPE product portfolio, including gloves, eye protection, footwear, and protective apparel.

• Analyze sales reports, customer data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and improve territory performance.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure outstanding customer support and successful execution of sales initiatives.

• Participate in corporate meetings, training programs, and special projects as assigned.

• Maintain professional communication and foster positive working relationships with customers and colleagues.

• Travel approximately 60% of the time (typically four days per week) to meet with distributors and end users.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Knowledge of: Sales and marketing techniques, computer and telephone operations, customer service and order procedures, outbound selling, proper phone etiquette and effective communication skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

• Minimum of four years of successful outside sales experience.

• Sales experience within the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), industrial safety, manufacturing, or industrial distribution industries.

• Experience using SAP ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

• Proven ability to build, manage, and grow distributor and customer relationships.

• Strong negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a remote environment.

• Willingness to travel up to 60% throughout the assigned territory, to include multiple night stays

• Valid driver's license

The base salary range for this position is $85-95K annually & includes a monthly car allowance. The salary is based on education, experience, and geographical location.
