What You'll Do

• Provide dialysis treatments to inpatients on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis (PD experience not required)
• Access fistulas and dialysis catheters; monitor patient vitals and response to treatment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care within unit protocols
• Float between multiple facilities including WKMC (WK North), Pierremont, Bossier, and South, as needed
• Utilize Meditech Expanse EMR for charting and documentation
• Work independently and demonstrate critical thinking in fast-paced environment
• Participate in hospital orientation and ongoing team communication

What You Need

• Valid RN license with at least 1 year of inpatient dialysis experience (2+ years for first-time travelers)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications, and CCHT or CDN preferred for tech roles
• Able to pass an EKG competency examination and travel between facilities
• Critical thinking skills and ability to work autonomously
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and occasional holiday on-call shifts
