Strategy And Operations Lead, News Partnerships
Driving progress, solving problems, and mentoring more junior team members; deeper expertise and applied knowledge within relevant area.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
Preferred qualifications: MBA or graduate degree. Experience driving complex, cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership. Ability to develop and implement go-to-market strategies. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization. Excellent investigative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve business issues.
About the job: The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will partner with the Global News Partnerships team to help us build and execute licensing, educational, and transformational programs across Google product surfaces. You will help to develop and drive execution of partnership strategies for our products and programs with the news industry.
Responsibilities: Define and implement global and regional partnership strategies that align with the long-term goals of the news ecosystem. Build and execute licensing, educational, and transformational programs across Google product surfaces to support the news industry. Partner with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, Legal, and Global Business Organization (GBO) partnerships, to drive global execution and alignment. Drive planning by guiding market approaches, managing negotiations, and relentlessly optimizing operations for scaled programs. Develop high-impact executive communications and decision-framing documents while measuring and communicating the impact of our strategies.
