Accounting & Advisory Manager Location: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite) Our client is seeking an Accounting & Advisory Manager who will serve as a trusted advisor to middle‑market clients, delivering strategic financial consulting and outsourced advisory services. This Accounting & Advisory Manager role is ideal for professionals who enjoy client‑facing work, solving complex financial challenges, and guiding leadership teams through forecasting, financial modeling, cash flow planning, and operational decision support. This is not a traditional corporate accounting or controllership position—it's a dynamic advisory role supporting multiple external clients. Location: Livingston, NJ (Hybrid/Onsite) Key Responsibilities Serve as the lead advisor and relationship manager for a portfolio of advisory clients. Deliver strategic financial consulting to business owners, executives, and leadership teams. Lead engagements focused on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, financial modeling, KPI reporting, and operational decision support. Present financial insights, business trends, and strategic recommendations to clients and boards. Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable guidance for non‑financial stakeholders. Manage multiple concurrent client engagements within a professional services environment. Supervise and mentor advisory staff while ensuring high‑quality client deliverables. Collaborate with firm leadership on client growth opportunities and advisory service expansion. Support occasional transaction advisory or due diligence engagements as needed. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in accounting advisory, financial consulting, CAS, FP&A consulting, outsourced CFO services, or public accounting advisory. Strong experience managing external client relationships in a consulting or professional services environment. Proven expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis. Experience leading advisory engagements and presenting recommendations to executive leadership. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and advise clients. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred.
