Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Renewable Energy Tax Associate in San Francisco, CA. This role offers the chance to work with a team of tax lawyers on innovative renewable energy transactions, providing hands‑on experience in a dynamic field.
Duties
- Advise clients on tax credit qualification, including construction and wage requirements under relevant tax codes.
- Support M&A transactions, tax equity financings, and tax credit transfers.
- Contribute to a practice with significant client responsibility from the start.
Requirements
- 1-8 years of relevant experience at a law firm.
- Experience with tax credit transactions and tax opinion letters.
- Excellent academic credentials required; LL.M. in taxation preferred.
- Admission to the California bar or eligibility for admission.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- California Bar Admission.
Skills
