PURPOSE As part of the HR Solutions Team, the HR Coordinator is the first line of contact in the Human Resources Department and provides support in a variety of areas including employee relations, reporting, payroll, benefits, HRIS, recruiting, and organizational communication. DELIVERABLES The HR Coordinator is the first line of contact for any HR inquiries from employees or leaders in the organization; Including: payroll, benefits, employee relations, HRIS, and indirectly support recruiting functions as needed. They possess a fundamental working knowledge in these areas and handle basic to moderately complex issues. They refer escalated issues to the appropriate member of the Human Resources team. HR task approvals. Reviews and approves HR tasks in the HRIS system including occasional background checks, E verify, personal information changes, offer letters, and employee position changes. Provides additional administrative support to the department as needed. Provides administrative support including completing Verification of Employment forms, HR inbox support, maintaining employee records, and other duties as assigned. Provides expertise to other members of the HR Solutions Team in a specified area. Each member of the HR Solutions Team will gain expertise in one or more specified areas of Human Resources, such as payroll, benefits, HRIS, employee relations, and indirectly support recruiting functions as needed. Provides guidance to other members of the HR Solutions Team and works closely with the appropriate specialist in the department on more complex items. May assist and provide support to specialists with projects in specified areas of expertise. Job Description MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Experience or interest in Human Resources. 2+ years administrative experience in a similar capacity. Bachelor's degree or applicable work experience required. Beginner experience with Microsoft Excel. WORKING CONDITIONS Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery. PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. Physical Strength: Non-Sedentary work, standing, and walking most of the time. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds. Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions and relay instructions to clients Attendance is an essential duty of the position. Employees must work regularly scheduled shifts, during business hours, to assist members and sell services in-person.
