Registered Nurse - Williams (Elk Ridge) Family Medicine Position is located in Williams, Arizona, United States. Job Description Posted Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 9:00 AM Job Purpose We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The RN plays a key role in delivering high-quality care, ensuring efficient patient flow, and supporting both clinical and operational needs in a fast‑paced outpatient setting. Key Results World‑class experience for staff and patients Healthier patients and employees Job Functions Triage patients by phone or in person, assess symptoms and follow established clinical protocols. Support patient intake and flow, including rooming, collecting vital signs, and documenting in the EMR. Administer medications and vaccines as ordered and monitor patient responses. Prepare and collect lab specimens for in‑house or external testing. Process prescription refill requests according to protocol. Provide health education and guidance to patients and families based on individual care plans. Facilitate communication between patients and care teams using phone, portal, and EMR systems. Supervise staff and provide clinical guidance to support staff as needed. Assist in maintaining inventory, clinic supplies, and medication stock. Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, hazardous waste handling, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with leadership to stay current on best practices and maintain readiness for inspections. Joint Commission Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in compliance with all policies and procedures including work areas, workstations, examination rooms, hand washing, infection prevention, and control. Demonstrate an understanding of and proficiency with the application of all compliance and reporting requirements for Joint Commission Certification (JCC) standards. Other Duties and Responsibilities Represent Elk Ridge Community Health as a professional role model and positive source of information to community members. Participate in community events that promote good health and raise awareness of Elk Ridge Community Health services. Participate in health care activities at local, state, and national levels to enhance Elk Ridge Community Health’s image. Ensure cost‑effective use of materials, supplies, and equipment by limiting waste. Maintain accurate documentation of hours worked and obtain timely sign‑off/approval. Maintain proficiency with Elk Ridge Community Health operating systems and software, adapting to updates and improvements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 3 to 4 years of related experience and/or training Active AZ RN License Current BLS certification Level I fingerprint clearance card (current, valid, and in good standing) or applied for within seven working days of employment start Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, read, and write) Transportation: Reliable transportation that can meet operational reassignments; if driving during work hours, a valid driver’s license and compliance with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements are required.
