Job Description

We are looking for a Contracts Administrator to join a team in Boston, Massachusetts, supporting the preparation, review, and coordination of business agreements. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing contract-related tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role partners with internal teams to keep documentation accurate, complete, and moving efficiently through each stage of the contract process.

Responsibilities:

• Examine incoming agreements such as statements of work, consulting contracts, amendments, and confidentiality documents to support accurate processing.

• Manage contract intake activities by organizing submissions, tracking progress, and maintaining visibility throughout the agreement lifecycle.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to collect required details, clarify terms, and help move documents toward execution on schedule.

• Check agreements for omissions, inconsistencies, and formatting problems to ensure they align with internal standards before routing.

• Maintain orderly and up-to-date contract files, status records, and related documentation within shared repositories or contract management systems.

• Support document revisions by coordinating edits, tracking redlined versions, and preserving clear version control during reviews.

• Monitor timelines and follow up with relevant parties to help keep contract milestones and deadlines on track.

• Provide administrative assistance for contracting operations and general legal documentation workflows as needed

• Previous experience supporting contract administration, legal documentation, or agreement review processes is preferred.
• Working knowledge of business agreements such as statements of work, consulting agreements, amendments, and confidentiality agreements is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors, missing information, and document inconsistencies.
• Proven organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple assignments and deadlines accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and document or contract management tools.
• Experience in a biotech environment is a plus, though not required.
