Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Access Control in Fountain Valley, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading automotive location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Full Time / Graveyard Shift Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue11:00 PM - 07:30 AMWed11:00 PM - 07:30 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive facilities, parking areas, service areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation. Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and emergency responders while reporting maintenance hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
