Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Mall Center in Newport Beach, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service to guests, tenants, and visitors. Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:30 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:30 AMFri11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSat11:00 PM - 07:30 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, storefront perimeters, and surrounding property areas to help to deter unauthorized activity. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders. Monitor access points, parking areas, and public spaces for unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations, escalating concerns according to site procedures. Assist visitors with directions, general information, and non-emergency support while maintaining a professional, customer-focused presence. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
