As a Security Officer supporting a retail and neighborhood environment, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols by bike and vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist residents, visitors, and tenants with exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:00 AM - 03:30 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, residents, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and neighborhood property location. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions taken. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, surrounding sidewalks, and property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report unusual conditions, maintenance issues, or policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership. Complete detailed daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Ability to ride a bike is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
