Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Commercial Office Building in Santa Ana, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, common areas, entrances, and perimeter grounds to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, tenant, and contractor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership, property management, and/or emergency responders as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
